I'm trying to string up a pair of 85W Piaa 520's. Given that the 55W Hella 500's came with a 14V40A relay, should I have at least that big for the Piaas? The only ones I've found locally were 12V30A.

    Thanks.

Reading over at TTORA, it seems that a relay's amps are the importnat part: just wattage/volts

Seems that 170watts would be fine in a 30amp relay.

    Answered my own question!
