Hey, I was wondering if anyone knew some quick off road trails or loops around Seattle, somewhere to drive not more than 30-45 mins out of town, maybe some pull-off areas to hangout/eat and maybe some views.

If there's a directory or a good online resource for these things or something, let me know, thanks!

Nothing like going straight up I90, tons of trails up that way once you pass North Bend.

There's tons of apps/websites and whatnot, was asking which ones people use around here since they vary greatly from region to region.

Maybe a quick run to Ira Springs? Or Stampede Pass is a great fun little half day run.

An unusually high amount of pinstriping.
There's really no trails that close that I know of. The best your going to do is FS roads that get you up into the mountains. You're still going to be an hour-ish just to get there but I would say your best bet is Stampede. There are a few roads here and there, but most of what you're going to find from Seattle to the top of Snoqualmie is either private or state land. Stampede Pass is a great area with lots to explore, but one word of caution about that area. It can lead you into completely different areas so make sure you have maps for the stampede area and the surrounding areas. I've run into more than one person in the Naches that started out on Stampede and was wondering where they were and how to get back to I90. Stampede is going to get socked in with snow any week, but right now next weekend is supposed to be sunny and there is no snow up there so it would be a good time to go exploring. Hopefully this helps some.

Yeah, and no cell service so make sure you have some kind of comms gear.

Go on Google maps have satellite mode on.. start in Seattle than pan out find areas with alot of trees and see if you can find some nf roads.. shitty thing about Seattle. No matter where you go it's atleast an hour either direction to get any national Forest. I90 or Monroe/goldbar area. Either way it's going to be more than 30-45 away.

Some of those roads might have snow so be prepared.. chains and air compressor..
