Try the NAPA version. Mine fits snug as a bug.

Mine didn’t fit too good either.
But it fit tight enough not to leak.
The adapters are cheap stamped steel.

    I can’t say I’d recommend Lisle.
I’d probably recommend a different brand.

LED interior lights. Steering wheel mod. New radio. Amp, speakers and sub woofer.
Went ahead and did a drain and refill. Drained the radiator then the passenger block and then the drivers block. More coolant came out of the passener side block then the drivers. Don't understand why but I moved on. Refilled with prestone red asian vehicle coolant. Burp it. Nothing is leaking. However, seems that it is getting hotter quicker then before. It doesn't overheat at all though. It took just over 10 quarts to fill.

Sounds like you got most of it at 10 qts. I’m assuming your motor stays at operating temp?

Yep. Stays at temp. Fan doesn't run either. Again, just seems it gets hotter faster. Maybe difference in coolant.

I graduated high school almost 20 years ago. While there, I had an auto tech class that was by no means compatible to your work experience. That said, I recall them teaching that part of a flush was to run it backwards to help remove deposits. Since you have seen problems first hand, I will take your word over mine.

Out of curiosity, what kind of problems have you seen with revered flow?
