I ran my '99 sr5 into a gulch and messed up the radiator.
I am looking for a solid replacement. Any suggestions? I ain't got too terribly much to spend but gotta do it.
So many cheap options out there......
    Thanks for the help here....

I've replaced my rad several times. Amazon, eBay, AutoZone. They all fit perfect.

It's just a rad, no need to spend big money on a factory rad.

Thanks guys. I am a noobie in the truck world. What do you caller the smaller radiator in front of the larger one? It is also damaged and I cant figure out what to call it to buy a new one.
    Thanks

Looks like I got soaked. I just spent nearly $200 on an OEM. Live and learn. The first two I bought from NAPA did not fit, so I went with Harrison because I was too impatient to keep looking.

It's hard to see the damage from the pictures. Does the radiator leak?

Does your AC still work? If it does then the condenser didn't break and leak the freon out.

The last one I bought was from ToyotaPartsDeal.com... NEVER again. They just tossed it in an oversized box, so of course, by the time the mail service had its way with it, it was bent to shit and would not hold pressure without leaking everywhere. I can't wait, they are probably going to try to charge me for a restocking fee and god knows what else. I can feel my blood pressure rising just thinking about it.

The mishimoto was pretty nice fitment wise. I loosely threaded in the bolts and everything seemed to line up well. I'm a little unsure about the way the cap screws on, but I'm sure they know what they're doing by now - I'll have a better review on it later once I get my new engine installed and plumb it up. Quick question though because it's able to accommodate an auto transmission, where can I get plugs for the trans fluid tubes to close it off? Also how does the trans and the coolant share the lower reservoir, does the atf just circulate through a tube running through the coolant reservoir?

Got mine from @gunny1005 and will know for sure by this weekend on whether or not it's leaking. I'm thinking I just had leftover atf and antifreeze around the fan and shroud from the removal/installation (at least I'm hoping that was it).

Maybe just get those rubber caps from your local parts store? You're correct, the atf just flows threw the bottom core of the radiator (that's what it looks like to me anyway).

Last time i priced it out, the dealer had the oem units priced cheaper then the local parts houses with their aftermarket junk. Check out camelback toyota parts

I ordered a Denso radiator for another car recently and was surprised how well it was packed. A box inside another large box with padding. Eventually companies get sick of too many returns and shipping companies damaging things so they package products better.
