Did u do the 2000. And save and turn off and then turn on again? Idk about the other values cuz i didnt try them. I dont know if it would make a difference but i waited like a minute before I made a phone call again.

Yeah I tried 2000 the first time. It doesn’t change the audio quality for better or worse it’s exactly the same buzz sound. The isolation option instead of standard in the iPhone menu is still working for me. Are you running the truck with the engine on? That’s the only time the buzzing comes into play on mine

Okay cool. I’ll give this a try. I still have the buzz when using CarPlay but was able to fix when I’m only using Bluetooth.

That fix worked for me. Put my phone mic into isolation while on the call and my wife said the buzz was gone. Woohoo! Gotta love this forum. This always bothered me while on a call using CarPlay.

I have a ‘17, does anyone know why Bluetooth keeps disconnecting. Normally when starting truck it connects automatically. Recently hasn’t been connecting and I have to re-pair etc…
    Any ideas?

I searched and specifically came here to post this exact same fix. It worked for me on my 23. Give it a try.

I've been subscribed to this thread for awhile now and this is the first fix that worked. I was at the dealer the other day and they said that all of the Toyotas were like this and it was just the way it was.

I'm so glad that this works!

    Hey Guys,
I am experiencing the same problem so the likely place for me to go to get the best answer or fix is on the Tacoma World forum, and as usual there it was "The Fix".
After changing the setting the buzz is gone. OF course not being satisfied with having the problem solved I googled "voice isolation on Iphones and this it what I found out. Read the attched link for more info.

Thanks again for sharing your knowledge .............. Joe

"Apple rolled out the iOS 16.4 version recently. With the latest update, Apple has brought Voice Isolation feature for cellular calls on all eligible iPhone models. Voice Isolation filters the extra noise from the background when a call is running. Here are a few simple steps to activate the feature."

I am also a member of the "buzz" club. 23 off road built in July (that may be important later). Fully loaded premium package and advanced technology. LED lights and navigation radio. I use the radios Bluetooth and steering wheel controls for phone calls on my Samsung galaxy note 9. I have tried Android auto both wired and wireless using the CarlinKit 5.0. I sadly don't have Android auto results at this time.
Is this "buzz" we are hearing the "modem" sounds in the CAN system being that new vehicles are mostly computers on wheels?
I have had people tell me that the buzz will lessen or some times disappear when I turn the wheel? Then I saw a press release about a wire in the steering column in the 23s being improperly welded but for the airbag circuit which made me think this could be a source of the interference if applicable. Or could it just be grounding issues poor capacitance ect.

I'm in an identical situation. I have a 2023 DCSport made in August of 2023 - the buzzing is awful and nothing seems to help. Any luck with any fixes?

Go back one page to post #61 in this thread. That's the fix. It worked for me. When on a call go in the menu look for transmit volume and turn it all the way down. For some reason it won't turn your voice all the way down just the buzzing.
