Radio Shut off randomly?

I have a 2010 TRD Sport... on my way to upstate NY friday i was listening to a cd and it just beeped and shut off. i hit the power button and it came back on and has worked fine since... anyone know anything about this?? is it a common thing??

 

There is a TSB, this radio has a defect on the power switch. If you are still under warranty it will need to be replaced.

 

alright, that is good to know because mine has just started doing that. it has happend about 4-5 times in the last month.

 

^^ yup better off geting an aftermarket one.

 

yes, my nissan titan had the same issue, warrantied 3 different radio's in a year and finally went aftermarket. I did not want to upgrade the radio in this truck but i am not sure now.. i am going to see if the replacement radio will solve the problem. i am still under warranty.
