    Quick question... this being a 3-way set and all, how do we go about mounting these in the Tacoma (with only speaker holes per door)?

    that's fine, even if you win, you're still going to lose. It doesn't look like those speakers are even going to fit easily. Maybe the mid can be mounted in the tweeter location and the high can be mounted on the pillar by the windshield.

    Actually you could easily mount the mid in the stock kickpanel since they have a sealed chamber or you could sell the mids for a tidy profit and run them as a 2 way set. :D

    What about installing the mids in the stock location and installing the high-end tweets in door sails (backing to the rear-view mirror mount) or a custom fitting to go over that area...

    Might be a little tricky but I think it could be done. :) I could also make a baffle to fit the mid along with the midbass in the stock door location if you didn't mind cutting a little metal. :)

    just to put a stop to my ignorance right now...

    tweeters=small
    mids=medium
    woofer=large
    subwoofer=largest

    and you're suggesting mounting the woofers in the stock location, mids in the kick panel, and the tweeters in the stock location.

    I don't mind, but how much would the extra cost be? (The raffle tickets wiped me out... :eek: )

    You are correct and yes that is what I was suggesting. Now to go a bit further if it were me I would mount the mid AND tweeter in the kickpanel or the mid/midbass in the door and the tweeter in the kickpanel :D

    $0.00 (except for shipping of course) as I would throw in any baffles you needed if you win. :D

    :D I'm in it to win it!!!

    ...now where is that $25 in change I had laying around here...

    When you say the kickpanel - you are talking about the panel between the door and the pedals (on the driver's side), is that correct?

    tempting, but you already have a boat, wife, URD MAF Cal, and a few hundred posts on me... you can stand to lose a mere set of speakers to lil ol' me.

    I haven't had a chance to check for a few days but I'll see how we're doing shortly. In any case my wife thinks I've been yanking her chain about what Dynaudio is doing for her and next years event so you guys need to buy more soon! :D

    I wish all of you would just go ahead and enter. I'm ready to install my new speakers and the raffle doesn't end until enough people enter.
