Railroad enthusiasts aging out? Help needed.

Listening to a local radio up here in Plumas County, Railroad Days in Portola may not happen anymore or much longer, due to not enough volunteers to help out. Just letting you know if you want to help them, have no contact info, but may be able to get if wanting to help or search online. I helped with a local marathon last summer, Running With the Bears held in the Indian Valley. Had to be in place by 5AM the morning of.

It's more like they are looking for a organization to volunteer to take over, but guessing they then use volunteers to work this, the organization only doing the organizing and filling key positions, like my helping with the marathon. I have a tablet, so can't paste a link.
By the way, the RWTB Marathon is a qualifier for the Boston Marathon.

I may check it out; I'm only really available Fri-Sun but I am a licensed railroad conductor and have been into trains since I was a kid.

 

Spread the word, but may be more like locals needed to join in.
