Oh lol... Gotcha... Have you noticed any performance gains from moving your air intake? I can't remember if we discussed that the other day.

I would love to make my hood scoop functional but I'm ticked at toyota for making something that is not only non-functional, but seemingly unusable based on threads I've read about the airflow. Why not put it somewhere else and give it the possibility to funcition? Then sell TRD stuff to mod it with. I mean they'd make a killing selling that equipment.

Cuz. It's just beautiful where it is! You bought it for the same reason I did. It looks special, fun and chicks dig it. It's functional, just not as an air gulping blower gobbler. And you still can fill it with lights, or make it a temp snorkel (my thinking) but don't whine about it. Just think of what it could look like:

I would love to, but I need to find somewhere within an hour and a half of Raleigh... I can't do much further unless I make a weekend of it and right now I'm trying to save my extra cash (that I didn't spend on the truck) for the upcoming 6 months. I have a ton of training coming up, but fortunately/unfortunately I won't have much extra time which means no playtime with the truck but maybe I'll wind up with a decent savings all said and done.

I was gonna try and get my 5100s on this weekend along with the winch... Maybe I'll just sell the winch and call it quits trying to get that on.
