    Well if your diff already gets caught on things now by adding a diff diaper you're making it so it gets caught on way more and way more easily. Yea it "protects" your diff but then again diffs don't exactly grenade. If they did mine would be beyond gone by now and it's not and trust me it's hit a lot of things. If you really want some sort of diff armor the only sort of weak point is the rear where the fill plug is and to protect that the weld on diff armor is perfect yet I haven't really hit mine on that spot to where I've needed it and trust me I've tried.
