    Hello everyone,

So i have spent ALOT of days searching for an answer for this question but i could never get a straight answer. I want to know if anyone has or is using rancho quick lift coil overs and shocks i want to see what the ride quality is and how you like it. also haven't seen anyone post about toytec coilovers with Bilstein which one is the better choice.. As of right now I'm using spacers and blocks and man do i regret it ride is so hard don't like it at all thats why i want to go with coil overs. if i do go with coil overs do i need to buy after market UCA... any answers will be helpful I'm new to this lifting game so sorry if i don't make sense.. I just want to know what level kit set up will give me a better ride..

One thing you might wanna add is what you mean by ride. Some guys want to it to handle Baja whoops at 55mph and some want a squishy feel at 5mph

I want it to ride almost close to stock because with the spacers I feel every little bump and it's rough as hell..

Since your truck is almost 10 years old I have ask if it has always rode rough? May be time to replace some suspension parts anyway. Good time to get rid of blocks.

My suggestion is save up and do it correctly the first time, this means less headaches and less money in the long run. If you decide to upgrade later you'd be better off saving the money and waiting a little longer. It also depends on what you plan on doing with your truck as well.

Hey guys. Completely new to all this but wanting to pull trigger soon. Have a 15 dcsb and want 3in lift with 33 tires(285/70/17). Thinking of doing 887ome coils, 5100s, head stong progress 3 leaf with their LR uca. It's just shy of 1200 on headstrong site. Truck is more daily driver than anything but still want to be able to handle whatever I throw at it. Any expert insights would be awesome. So much great info here

I run the Rancho lift on my truck. I have the RS66901R9 and I love the ride, better than stock. What I like about this suspension is that it is adjustable, based on how you like the ride, (soft - hard - ect). The rear is 1.5" block, but it still rides well due to the rear shocks being adjustable. I am removing the rear blocks soon and installing Dakars, they are on order, just waiting for them to arrive. Easy to install too. I have had this set up on my truck for 1 year and it rides great, no regrets at all.

I too have the rancho quick lift with an AAL in the rear. A great improvement over the stock TRD suspension. The adjustability of the Rancho shocks is nice, and I have messed around with the settings, anything below 5 feels like firmer stock ride, I'm going to move it to 6 next oil change. I was able to find my kit through the marketplace and got a great deal.

You'll need wheels with a lower offset to run tires that size or spacers.

I run mine at #4, nice and cushy ride, when I tow my camper I adjust the rear to #7 and leave the front at #4, gives a great ride.

I just put on OME 885 and Bilstein 5100 coilovers and an AAL and 5100s in the rear and I couldn't be happier with the ride and the price. I definitely think it's better than the TRD Off Road coilovers and I find it to actually be better than my old OME 884s, which are 10mm shorter. Got 2.5" of lift up front and 2" rear.
