    I've seen Toyota trucks haul stuff (like 1200-1500 oiunds of coffee beans up/down mountain roads, or 20-30+ bags of concrete) that would make a Ranger (or any other American made truck) scream in pain & pee tranny fluid all over its self.

    My '96 2RZ lived in the beautiful country of Honduras. had 149k on the odo when I broke the speedo (in 4th gear), got 25-30 mpg, & would still do 55 in 2nd anytime I needed it to.

    Had a Ranger, once, for a couple years, not even close...
