I had swapped to a PML extra capacity transmission pan and checked my pan bolts after 10k miles. It ended up some were loose everytime I hand tightened over the next couple oil changes. so I planned to threadlock the bolts this time. I also had a fresh gasket on hand so I dropped the pan to check it out. But good thing the bolt fell in the pan because I'm not sure I would have bolt checked the valve body at this point. Went through it and everything is mostly tight. Almost 30k miles later and the valve body is working out great at least so not sure why they vibrated loose. Could be the solid mounts..

Ah indeed could be. I hasn’t noticed any issues but that would be all bad.

Just a thread update. 3rd kit I've installed. This install is on a sequoia transmission that I'll be installing on my sc'd Tacoma. Did it with the transmission upside down and was substantially easier. Took maybe 1.5 hours.

Just installed the radiotek kit this past weekend and wanted to say thanks @mightytacoman for writing the thread and everyone else for their contributions. It was nice having a resource to reference back to during the install. Overall, it wasn't that bad of a job and removal/install of the valve body itself was honestly the worst part as i took a shower in ATF haha. The truck shifts SO much quicker than before and the shifts are firm.
