A couple of weeks ago I posted a query about a cold weather rattle under the hood of my '95 4WD 2.7L. I started taking things off today. I started with the power steering pump belt tensioner. The bearing had a little play in it, but didn't seem like the culprit. I got the belt off and started the motor. I still had the rattle. I revved it up a tad and looked down at the belt drive pulley. The sheave closest to the motor was loose enough that I could see movement other than rotation.
Apparently the rear sheave is bolted to the main drive pulley. Is that true?
I don't know about all 2.7 L motors, but mine has the multi-groove flat belts.
Could someone suggest a place to buy a used pulley if it comes to that?

    Merry Christmas.
