Noticed the same thing. I used some oil this week, when I noticed it. We'll see how long that lasts.

Just bought the Rough Country UCA for my truck. Going to give them a shot...
I have a 2018 TRD Pro with a Wescott Designs lift on it. I wasn't able to get 0 Camber, 0 Toe and decent Caster with the stock UCA. I never off road, so I am basically putting these on to try and get good alignment specs.
    Hopefully these cure my problem.

Ok,. So, I might have f*KD the dog on this one...but I'm gonna send it...I bought my gen3 with leveling spacers on it...I ordered new tires, and I want to get the alignment dialed perfectly...so I also ordered the RC uca's, I did not read the "requires 3.5" lift"....welp I will learn something for sure. either RC is full of shit, or I'm an idiot and will be ordering my suspension before winter....I'll keep y'all posted.

I have read reviews on Amazon and I think even RC's website, where people have used these with 2" lifts. So I think you are fine...
Also their claim these require a 3.5" inch lift makes no sense. If you think about it, a 2020 TRD Pro starts off way higher than a 2006 TRD Sport. So a 2020 TRD Pro with a 3.5 inch lift would be a lot higber than a 2006 TRD Sport with a 3.5" lift. But these work on both...
These have some caster built into them. So maybe if you want to get the caster back to factory spec (2 degrees or under), you would have to put a 3.5" lift on a 2006 TRD Sport. But most of us are trying to get more caster than that. The blanket statement that these only work with 3.5" lift just doesn't make sence, when there are so many other variables.

Thanks, I didn't think it made much sense. Just to be clear...my 06' was stolen this summer and joy ridden...they had more fun in my truck in one night than I did in 8+ years of owning it...on that truck I had Chromoly UCA's and the eibach pro lift set at 3", with icon progressive aal, timbrens and airbags, I used it for my slide in camper. I replaced the 06' with a gently used 16'. The truck came with a front spacer (looks like 1.5") and the front tires are aligned but the camper is out by about 1.5 deg. I am moving to 285/75r17 Nexen AT tires before the winter hits and what to get that camber back to spec. Before putting too many KMs on them.

I am planning on changing the suspension to a similar system the eibach stage2 coilover, shocks, and icon or Deaver progressive aal. I will probably get some sumo bumpstops and remove the overload this time around. I Already have the airbags on so I will keep those to help when hauling the camper.

Thanks for the boost in confidence ☺️

They only say 3.5 to “cover their ass” they’re a corporate company and it’s just insurance. They also include a sticker to put inside the truck to say it has aftermarket components “you can’t sue us now”

These arms have been great so far, I like the oem rubber bushings they include, soft feel. The only bad thing is the ball joint rubber boots will dry up and crack like an old tire within a few months. My passenger side leaks but I’ve learned to deal with it. RC did send me a brand new set of ball joints no questions asked except for a couple pictures. One day I’ll get around to changing them out

20221106_123136.jpg I put mine in today. Painting in the wheel well and frame while I am at it. I painted my UCA black, I like the more stealth look...

Literally just put them on today. Wheels are still off until I am done painting. Probably will be going for the alignment Tuesday or Wednesday (Definitely not Thursday!)

Is it kind of wandery across the wheel troughs in the pavement/ wants to ride up and down them?

thats all in the high caster. I'm in a similar boat with the Rancho UCA's from rock auto. Sold for a 3" lift and caster is in a similar ballpark. No worries with tire wear tho, already have at least 5000k on mine.

When it had more caster it actually was better. Starting was around 5 when I put the UCA on. I think it actually needs to go back up and also I think the Toe is making it feel a little jumpy

Is this dialed in for 3.7deg of caster, or is the adjustment maxed out?
