ill be putting this lift on my truck in a few weeks, once I get home from offshore. ill be running the tss rims and dick cepek fun country 315/70R17's and 2 inch spacers. so my question is now, how much trimming will I have to do?? im prepared to do the CMC, if I have too, but would rather not if I can do without.

Look a few posts up. There is a pic of mine showing how much clearance between the cab mount and the tire. I'm running 33x12.50 tires. No CMC necessary, at least in my case. The tires did slightly touch the inner fender last weekend though. Had the wheel cranked and hit a hole while going down a steep decline. First and only time I've had any contact.

What's that? Eating the candy Wheelers Offroad sent me? Lmao!!

On a serious note though I can't wait to get it put on. I'm extremely impressed with how durable everything looks.

Hey has anyone swapped to the RCD lift from one of the 6" fabtech/procomp ones?
Couldn't find anything after searching and was curious if it's been done.

I not for sure but I don't see why not. I read on here somewhere that the RCD kit was very similar to Procomps design.

It should work as they all need the same cut for the drive line to clear.
Not sure why anyone would want to make that swap since they are all similar design with the exception of the RCD having a superior quality product.
Most issues with Fab and Pro can be traced back to poor quality shocks compared with the RCD Kit and if someone were to swap just for that reason they could save some cash by ordering something like the Icon or King shocks.
That being said its time for me to whore out my truck again.

Do the Dakar leaf springs squeak like the stock ones? Mine squeak like crazy even before I put the lift on. I have the blocks in until i save up more money for either the Dakar, or Alcan leaf packs, haven't decided yet.

Mine do when I get dust around the rubber bushings. A blast with the hose usually takes care of it. If not, I spray some silicone around the rubber bushings and the squeak goes away for awhile.

I did the pond liner mod on the dakars when I installed them, so I haven't had any squeaks from the leafs themselves.

I think you'll find the setup from RCD to be a comfortable ride.
What ever your running with your plate bumper and winch will transfer over to the RCD kit and if its been working for you now it will only be better with the new shocks and if it hasn't then a stiffer spring maybe needed or do what i did then you'll have the best of both worlds with the ability to adjust the level to your needs.
My winch should be here this week along with the winch bumper and battery ill be adding around a 150 pounds to the front with the ability to level as needed.

Im at stock height, so no lift on it now. the front already sits low. id rather it be a tad higher till I put my added weight so that when I do put on the weight I wont have to worry about anything.

    well ok then.
after the lift you should be level
putting ome springs on will only give a harder ride until the weight is added

Yeah, but I can live with that for a few weeks till the winch and bumper are put on.

My question then really is, which ome spring?? 883 or 884??
