I just want to say something here, why is there no rcd lift for the 1st gen? F*CK!

the rcd is better than most db lifts, because it doesn't use a spacer on the top of the coilover, it uses a custom shocks. for the amount that a lot of us wheel, it's a pretty sweet set up!

another thing, some of you seem to be pretty against db lifts because you don't gain ground clearance with it, but the point of a lift isn't just to measure how tall of a stick you can drive over. with a good driver, it's not all about ground clearance, but getting better approach and departure angles, which this kit does. it also get's your rocker panels up higher, so you can in fact, drive over bigger things.

(bored at work, nothing else to do but BS with you guys)

it'll come with everything you need, you'll have to swap coils, or get new coills for the front coilover shock. that will take a spring compressor, or bring it to a shop, which is highly reccommended because it's dangerous!

Use the stock springs and the blocks go between the leaf and the axle.

looks like a block in the rear, IMO, ditch the block and get a new leaf pack, if you can afford it.

with your truck being new, you could stick with the stock coils, they should be in good shape.

I shouldve went with the RCD lift. But Instead did a 3" coilover set-up.
But I just hate the fact that you gotta cut the frame. But atleast with the RCD kit you will have straight CV angles.

The only thing I would change with the RCD lift, is the rear 4" blocks, and just do a 3" lift in the rear for a more leveled truck. Either a new leaf pack or a 2" AAL and a 1" tapered block.

yep! well on my 1st. gen. I couldve ran a 3.5" lift with the cv drop kit and I wouldve been fine on cv angles.
The 2nd. gens are a different story.

No need to worry about CV boots blowing again with an RCD kit. Thats why I ditched the Ultimate kit I had originally installed. My CV's are perfectally parallel now. With the RCD you will easily fit the wheels and tire combo you want without rubbing. You could not do that with the Toytec Ultimate kit. I'm running 285-70-17's and even with the Toytec kit cranked all the way up, it still rubbed off road or even backing out of the driveway. That is one thing that really annoys me. Beside the rubbing, the truck rode way too stiff as well. Just spend the money and do it right the first time. I wish I would have. RCD kits totally rock!
