And I'm going to have a super solid, low mile, affordable, DD since it was ugly at first :). It absolutely fucks driving through the ghetto, unmaintained streets of Rockford on the way to work every day with the bling shocks.

I flock to beaters! The only way I can afford Tacoma's is to buy other people's half finished projects!

Marlin really should be paying you for marketing! That’s the real way to sell LT setups

Well, since we are on the topic of RCLT. My driver's side UCA bushing currently look like this:

Turns out the drivers side UCA is a bit bigger than the passenger side UCA:

Was it you or someone else that had trouble with their arm being not right. Seems like it was pulled from the jig early or the jig has some big tolerances. Not the only arm I've seen with issues of the bushings like that though.

That is difficult when I am on a remote island in the middle of the pacific ocean. I paid $50 just for the shipping cost of new bushings.

In the age of social media, I feel like companies would be like hawks jumping on any opportunity to look good to the public.

Issue with a part? No problem! We will ship you a replacement ASAP. Me later: Wow, they took care of that super fast! I love working with Acme Fantasy Off Road Inc!

Quick turnaround on customer service is #1 for a successful business. I've seen so many businesses fail, not just in this industry, simply because they drop the ball when it comes to fielding questions, helping troubleshoot, or getting defective parts replaced.

I won't say the details but I'm currently watching a business fail because it tried to expand before it had it's operations in order. Quality sharply fell and they are having mass exodus of customer base because they can't keep up with replacements of sub-par/faulty products. They just let go most of their staff because they could no longer sustain them.

Well, it's all ups and downs with Marlin. I sent them a photo of my steering rack passenger side bushing failure on Nov 4th. The entire rack is shifting when I turn the wheel because it is essentially pivoting on the hard bushing on the driver's side. This is what Nate experienced in the Ultimate Adventure video posted earlier. I reached out to Marlin to let them know this wasn't an isolated issue and the problem seems to be from having a soft bushing on one side and a hard bushing on the other. The soft bushing has been destroyed and all the steering force is being applied to the hard bushing, which will eventually cause the cross member failure that Nate experienced.

I asked if the hard bushing replacement process could be done on the soft bushing side, so there are 2 hard bushings. I was told that I would get a response on the following Monday. Monday came and went and I was told they are looking into it. I've been following up with them every other week and did so again last night:

Me: Hello, it has been about a month. Do you have any updates or insights as to a solution for the steering rack bushing?

Marlin: We do not and at this time I do not believe there will be a focus on this. You are the only customer that has brought this to our attention and the only customer who has experienced said issue.

Here is the state of my passenger side bushing:

And a link to Nate's video, in case anyone missed it:

That’s kind of a lame response.

Also where in that video does your problem appear? I tried to find it last time but didn’t want to sit through 30 minutes. I did find a steering problem around the 13 minute mark but it doesn’t seem to match your issue.
