Hey y'all. What are your thoughts on re-gearing to 4.88 or 5.29? So I have been doing some research and it seems like a lot of folks re-gear their 3rd gen. I put a lift with 285's and I feel like the truck lags a bit from a dead stop and searches for gears when driving highway speeds. A friend who is looking at buying a 2020 Tacoma turned me towards Nitro Gear who looks like they have some quality products and good advice. If you have an auto that 80% of the time sees highway miles with some weekend warrior off roading, what is the best gearing?
