Realignment necessary with 1/4" spacer to correct "taco lean"?

    my driver's side front end sits about 1/2" lower due to the taco lean and i was going to get a 1/4" spacer from toytec thats supposed to give about 1/2" of lift...just wondering if i would need to get my truck realigned if i got this put on..

    yea so pretty much the 20 buck for it and prob the 30-40 to get it installed will be more like 150 after everything is said and done lol. not worth it to make like a half an inch of diff....prob just gonna get dynamat put in my doors instead haha

    Yeah..That dude is a rahtard. He lost business over something that is trivial. I still use the stock alignment specs...I have had techs tell me "Something is different about your truck- but it lined right up..."

    plus im running spindles which keep the geometry lol i went in there with the camburg spindle info and everything and the manager said he was an avid wheeler and unfortunately since the lift "altered stock geometry" he couldnt do it

    ^2 especially since it sits on top of the strut, making the install extremely super easy and probably take you less than an hour

    didn't have to compress any springs on my 2nd gen. the spacer sits on top. took me 30 minutes.

    it install right on top of your current or stock coilovers. take the 3 bolts and loosen them from the top, lower the strut assembly, install spacer, push back into the whatever and tighten the 3 bolts back up

    do u think it would hurt anything if 3 sides of the truck were level and one was higher? cuz if i put in the spacer the whole driver side will be level at 36 3/4" and the passenger front is already at 36 3/4" as of now but then the passenger rear is a little over 37". so do u guys think that would hurt anything having one corner higher than the rest?

    It doesn't hurt anything on all the stock tacos that have the lean, why would it hurt yours to have a little lean the other way? :notsure:

    well i figured it would mess something up or be hard to align if three corners of the truck were good and one was off..idk? haha

    also would adding new rear shocks raise the back up a little even if they aren't longer, like with the stiffness i mean (bilstein 5100's)
