REALLY low idle, how to adjust???

    Mine idles about 600 to 650 when it's hot and in drive. It was a bit higher, but came down when I had my brake booster rebuilt.

    Clean your Idle air control valve. It's a mechanism on the side of the throttle body that opens to let air in while idling. Over time it will become clogged with carbon.

    This happened to me yesterday. I have to put in the clutch and blip the throttle to keep it from stalling. Happened out of nowhere. SMH

    2011 Tacoma V6. 156,000 miles on the truck.
