When I was a young teenager, I had a friend come over after school. I had my BB gun laying against the wall. He grabbed it a pointed it towards me. Playing as we were, I jumped in my closet. There was my pellet gun which had BBs in it. So I flung open my closet door, pointed the pellet gun at him and pulled the trigger. Next thing, we're looking around for the bb. We can't find the damn thing when I look up at him. He's got the bb lodged in his skull right above his eyebrow! I could have shoot him in the glasses. But Thank God

I bought a new truck. I've still got 4 more years of payments. I should have kept my old Lincoln and done the repairs myself. Now, I'm spending more money than I should.

When I was 12-13 I used to cruise my Dad's car when he took the other car to go pick mom up from work. I knew it was good for about 45 minutes. Once I rolled right along side a cop, but he didn't trip (whew!) and another time I buried the front end in a snowdrift but it got loose when I kept cranking the wheel left/right (sheer luck) When I revealed this to Mom years after Dad passed she said he was suspicious 'cause one time he heard the exhaust on his car ticking as it cooled...almost an hour after he parked it (I never thunk of that) and when I asked her why he never busted me she said "because he was madder at himself for leaving the damm keys right there for you to see" That was one of the few precious times my Dad ever cut me major slack. When I think of the things that could have resulted from my lack of sense behind the wheel of a 5000lb beast....makes my toes curl!

But no! That wasn't good enough. I did it two days in a row! I blame it on sleep deperavation.

When I was younger, I would call a buddy and forget his name by the time his father would answer. I'd be sitting there stuttering on the phone trying to come up with a name to ask for.................Yeah, I was a little pothead at the time.
