    How do you take off the top nut on the rear shocks without the whole damn thing spinning?!? I got it like 90% off with vise grips but now theres no where to grip on to.

    Not on stocks shocks. They have a flatened end. I just used a wrench and when it got close to the end, the nut came off.

    Solid. Mine just came off with a wrench as well.



    w40 and needle nose pliers maybe? To get under the nut.

    Yeah im at the point where the nut is covering the squared off flat part.

    I'm sure a Dremel with a cutting disc or a good old hack saw will work fine.

    Okay new problem, i got it off and put the new shock in but now im tightening down the top nut and its doing the same thing.
