@ tacoMX I already am running 3 inch spacers above the coils. This would make it 4 inchs total if I add the toytec top mount 1/4" spacer.

I was told that is to much. I sugested to toytec to make the passenger side coil spacer a 1/4" less than the driver side.

The spacer to fix taco lean goes on top of the strut, wont raise that side more than half an inch at most.

Donahoe CO's, Deaver leaf paks, Lockright Locker, All Pro body armor ( sliders, front and rear bumpers ), All Pro under belly skids, Warn M8K w/Masterpull synthetic line, Dual Optima battery system, 4 ea LightForce Striker 170 offroad lights, 8 ea wired rock lights, and plenty more I'm sure
a single shim (spacer) on the drivers side CO
should suffice for pre-loading that corner.
I cannot say what thickness that should be...
and it could be a trial/error thing.

IMO... Coil (trim pak) shims are fine...
external top loader spacers should be avoided.

I already have the 3 inch coil spacers. The 1/4 spacer would put me near 4 inches on the right front corner. to much...

    What about rear air bags?

Tho' air bags might work for street duty...
they'd likely limit compression/droop off road.
possibly a somewhat stiffer on road feel.

seems like just another bandaide, for a real fix.

Air bags are usually installed in support of heavier loads/towing.

    -------------

maybe I missed it... or just confused

When you say 3" coil spacers... You mean:

3" of total susp. lift ? or an actual 3" spacer ?

In coil pak or top loaders ?

Top loaders. The lift it self it 1.5 inches tall, I guess some how that gives me three inches total.

I know its not the best style of lift but this truck is for the Home Depot and possible Zombie out break.

I am looking into some pro comp rear springs, they say they add 5 inches of lift. I dont really want that. Only looking for three. That price is right on them at 108 a piece...

Any ideas for rear leafs on a budget?

The 1.5'' spacers give 3'' of lift because they are inline with the shock, and pushes down the coilover, yielding about 3'' at the end of the control arms.

And there are no such thing as complete leaf springs on a budget.

I would avoid pro comp, and if they give 5'' of lift, thats way too much.

The only thing you can do on a budget is use AAL's, or rebuild your leaf pack like the TW member "4WD" did as shown in his thread:

    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/suspension/194386-tacoma-spring-refurbishing.html

Or save your pennies and buy some decent leaf packs like alcan, deaver, all pro, or ome dakars. That option will cost you $400+

If you want some lift in the rear the Pro Comps will definitely give it to you. I put some on and it lifted the rear almost 4 inches (by my calculations). I REALLY like the look but the rear is now WAY higher than the front. I could have just brought the front up a little more to match the rear but I decided to take the Pro Comps off and put on some OE leaf springs. If you want to get some gently used Pro Comps let me know.

not sure why procomp made springs that gives so much lift...considering on stock front suspension the max you can lift is 3''.

Unless they are meant to be coupled with a DB lift or straight axle.

How much lift was on your front end? 2.5 or 3 inches?

I had about 2 inches of lift up front. I probably could have moved the front up a little more to get it closer to level.

They have universal 1/4 inch blocks you can add to the rear blocks, but may tweak all your angles, I don't know if it would be a good thing or bad, I think 4wheel parts should carry them, or a quick search online..

Shipping would probably be crazy but I would let them go for crazy cheap if you want them. $60 plus shipping. I think that qualifies as crazy cheap. I have only had them on thete for about two months.
