well if i bought something that advertised 3" of lift, i would want 3" of lift even after driving it for a while. just makes sense to me that they wont go down

2.5inches up front 2inches higher in the rear then front.
2.5+2=4.5 inches of lift, with a 3" lift kit. So is obviously sitting higher then it should.
Why dont you just stay in the 2nd Gen Forums

Ok man! I dont have your set-up or anything but maybe can give you some help.
I would maybe try to put some weight in the back to speed up the setteling process.

And with 2.5" lift in front and 3" in the rear, your probably ganna be about 1.5-2" higher in the rear. Because the stock suspension has the rear about 1" higher in the rear to begin with.
Did you want more level look or the rear about 1" higher?

im trying to understand why you are adding together your front and rear lift?

2.5" up front + 2" higher in the rear= 4.5" of lift where exactly?

you said you have 3" all pro leaf packs in the rear, so where is the 2" you just mentioned coming from?

I have my coilovers set at 3" and my 3" all pros in the rear. The back sits about 1/2" higher.

I am aware the rear will sit higher then the front, im just looking for a more stock look, 2" is a lot and most pics i see of other trucks with 3" sit more level.

K, well try some weight in the bed, see If that gets it to settle more.

Yeah, i did my tuff country 3" front and rear and it's doesnt really come out to 3". Was like 3.5" front and 4" in rear. Did you make measurements before and after to compare after install.

Mines was 35.5" stock 39" after in the front from ground to underneath fender flare
and 36" stock 40" after in rear. it was odd but I liked the little rack it had so kept it.
