Didn't know if there were any vendors offering a "weld your own" rear bumper?

i.e. - Vendor provides all of the pre-cut pieces, you weld them together yourself...

Already interested in the DeMello DIY Sliders. Have access to a shop and an assortment of MIG machines.

    Anyone?

Here's some pics from Easter Sunday, went on a drive around the Island.

I am aware of at least one case where ATO has delivered a weld-it-yourself kit to a customer. Not really something they advertise, but it's out there.

I'm pretty sure if you call up most any of the popular fabs they'd be willing to quote you for something like that.

That's what I assumed. Just wanted to check on TW and see if it was even remotely possible.

Steel is expensive up in Kodiak - it'd be much easier to buy without having any waste. Although, not sure what shipping cost might be - it could end up canceling out material cost.

Don't want to buy a ready-made bumper - but I also don't feel to up to designing and fabbing my own at this point.

Yeah. I was impressed with AK when visiting. May move up there one day. But I remember a lot of the locals talking about it being hard to get some things.

Yeah, freight is a killer. Then add the fact that everything must come by barge of air freight - which can be absolutely unpredictable.

It's getting there....some sliders, bedlined rockers, rear bumper and a winch and she'll be getting closer to where I want...
