    Any idea on years that interchange? My truck needs a brake upgrade and I would rather use stock style parts if possible.

    I have the SOSperformance kit with the parking brake on my truck. The difference in braking power and pedal feel has to be felt to be believed. I now have confidence in my brakes! More consistent more powerful braking with little to no maintenance. I honestly can't think of a downside other than cost and even then how much of a price can you put on safety? To those who say drums don't require maintenance, clearly you haven't driven through water or mud. Or have had your pedal start getting longer and longer due to the shoes going out of adjustment causing you to have to crawl under the truck and adjust them.

    The mass is just used to the feel of having drums. Whether they work or not.

    The kit is a little pricey, but I will be taking the plunge eventually, I use my truck for work travel and they pay good mileage, so at least it wont be coming directly from my pocket.

    I originally just purchased the bracket kit, w/e-brake lines.

    Still had to purchase some components directly from Toyota, then the spring kit, shoes, pads, rotors and calipers. Would have been a one stop purchase, had I just gotten it all at once.

    Yeah, I was looking online and finding the parts used is like a needle in a hay stack. I figured i might as well just get it all... the time and work it would take to source everything wouldn't be worth the small savings.

    Well, it looks like there are some options. I also saw a kit that contains GM parts, it's cheap, and well you get what you pay for.

    Not sure what I'm gonna do. For now, I'm gonna get Stainless lines, slotted rotor, and ceramic pads. I'll do the rears down the road, once I decide I what direction I want to take the truck. A lot of this stuff is sweet, but way overkill for what I need. My problem is I love to mod.
