Anyone do anything to their trucks to get rid of the rear lean. Mine is about 1.25" lower on drivers side rear and driving me nuts

Are you still maintaining a 1 inch rake in the rear? if not try doing that and see what happens or maybe loosen the U bolts and shocks with the weight of the truck sitting on the floor to relax the suspension and torque again, maybe something was off when you tighten it up on jacks. Last but not least, swap the springs from left to right and see what happens if possible. $.02

With Factory leafs I had 1 1/4" lean to drivers side. Swapped in Dakers, ended up with 1" lean to drivers side. So I added 1/2" shim to drivers side, not perfect, but it looks pretty level.

I put my truck on race scales when it was stock, and the driver rear only weighed 60lbs more than the passenger rear, don't see how the taco lean can be as bad as it is.

I don't understand how a spacer fixes the lean? But ppl say it does. I cranked the coil over and resolved the front end issue. Thinking of throwing in a 1/2" spacer and calling it a day

Thanks for the info I'll try Out loosing and retorking as suggested. I'd rather not go through the work of switching leafs lol. Worst case I'll buy a spacer

Solved mine with a 1/4 " spacer driver side front.... when lifted it worked... I had a lean stock normally when we lift the truck the lean is more noticeable. The spacer fixes that lean... it works.

You're saying a spacer in the front fixed a lean in the rear?

I'm saying a 1/4" spacer fixed my Taco Lean... It was the whole truck leaning to the drivers side.. I never measured as I could see it was leaning ... that was before lifted. After lifted I can see it is NOT leaning.. so problem solved.

My front end is not leaning. My front is level. It is only the rear drivers side leaning. Not the typical "Tacoma Lean" we all know and love

    I see...errr I don't see... pics or it didn't happen!

Maybe you have an issue with your rear leaf spring?? I did upgrade my leaf springs with an Icon progressive AAL kit. Tightens everything up nicely and very little sag when fully loaded.

It actually does fix the rear driver side lean... kinda. My truck is leveled with full tank of gas but even my 230 lbs fat ass can shift the weight of the truck drop the driver side. I cranked up my fox coilovers 4 threads more on the driver side and the truck sits leveled. Its all a balancing act of shifting the trucks weight around. You can feel it with minimal changes of 1/4"-1/2" increments of net change from front to rear. Also when adding in new leaf springs example dakar leaf packs like I did they note "+" and "-" on the springs. The springs are within spec but have more preload with "+" and less with "-" therefore you are suppose to mount the "+" pack on the driver side to compensate the driver and fuel tank.

To answer everyone's question as to how raising the driver front will fix the "taco lean" this is it. Picture you truck being suspended by one point in the center. Now tilt it to where the driver is slightly lower. This simulates the lean now pick on the driver front now as the front driver rises the rear passenger will start to lower. That's the basics principal of it, how ever this will only work to a certain extent on our tacomas if the lean is too bad the passenger rear suspension will fight against you at some point making it harder to correct. To sum it up what you are really doing is forcing more pressure on the passenger rear trying to bring it in line with the driver side. I hope this explanation helps.
