i have a question about the idea of reinforcing the rear section of the frame with some plate steel with racing holes drilled into it to keep the weight down but, still keep the strength.

does anyone make anything like this for 2nd gens? i keep seeing a post for 1st gen tacos but, nothing for the 2nd gen taco. if i'm not mistaken our rear section is not boxed correct? if its not i would like to add some strength to it by zapping on some steel but to keep the fabrication cost down i would really like a template kit of something similar like what is being offered for the first gens.

Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
i havent been under there in a while, but i'm pretty sure the front and rear of the DCs are boxed and the center under the cab is the only C-frame. as for reg cabs, no clue. get under there and look:D
