I have a 2012 Double Cab and I assume the rear heating duct is at the base of the centre console facing the back seats (where the grill is), but I don't feel any heat coming from there even with the blower on high. Is there another spot under the front seats that the heat comes out of?

There is a duct under each front seat.

Ah. Which raises the question, what is that grille for at the base of the centre console...?

I think it is venting for the inverter for the bed mounted 120v plug.

Even if your truck doesnt have the plug, i would assume it is the same trim in all trucks

Correct. The heat ducts for the rear seats are underneath each of the front seats.

And the vent on the back of the center console is for the bed A/C plug inverter to vent its own heat.
