Removing leafsprings. Never used these stands with angled top. Had to put them more towards center than id like because of gas tank. Also wondering about contact point as frame isnt boxed there. Thanks for input178809E8-DFD8-49D8-A6DD-B9EC2F03AA52.jpg2919D43E-A6DC-4394-AD58-4215D271F5D8.jpgF559AF8C-5C38-43EB-BE03-EB7DBCF9B77D.jpg6649522D-A6C0-4501-B954-16592BC373B8.jpg

The V's do seem sketchy, but for leafs you'll want the body as high up in the rear as possible so you can droop the rear axle as low as you can. Just make sure to keep a jack under the diff so you can get it back off the ground. With 2 people and all the right tools it really shouldn't take long. Seized bolts, not having the right tools, or doing it alone will make this a much more difficult and time consuming process.

Anywhere along the frame rail is fine.

Yea those are really solid and tall stands. They worked well but the angle was kinda tripping me out too and how it was towards the center. Of course i did it alone and didnt remove shocks cause apparently i like doing things the hard way but got it just about wrapped up. Thanks for the reply
