For sale: One pair of leaf springs off an older chevy(w/fantastic arc, american steel), new custom clamp hardware and aircraft grade rubber isolator pads. $.50 takes it (local pickup/meetup). Doug(OMD/4WD) and I rebuilt my rear leaf spring pack on my 98' 4x4 with the plan of adding two leafs per side, but we achieved what I was looking for(about 30% greater arch, a smooth but firm ride with an additional 1.5" lift) by only using one leaf spring per side and removing the overload spring. So, I have the other two leaf springs left over and for sale(one leaf is already diamond cut, the other is not). This is really the best way to upgrade rear suspension without spending $500+ on a spring pack or AAL kit. Build your own. It's actually very simple and fun. Here's the link that started it all(thanks again Doug!): http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/suspension/194386-tacoma-spring-refurbishing.html
