    Hello there,

    New to the community.

    Currently have a 09 Tacoma, 4x4 access cab, 6 spd...Putting in a lift soon. My question is to do with the rear leaf springs;

    As my truck is Canadian it come with the TSB leafs.

    I am installing a 2" progressive add a leaf from toytec, but I am also adding airbags at the same time. I am using the truck to haul my camper (800lbs), sometimes my sled, (400lbs) and sometimes pulling a heavy trailer (3000lbs) But the majority of the time, it will be unweighted.

    What you you guys think? Remove the TSB? Remove the Overload as I am running airbags? Keep the O/L but retain the TSB?

    The Toytec guys say keep everything (TSB, O/L, plus thier 2" progressive add a leaf, and airbags) but I think that will make the truck ride too harsh.

    Opinions or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

    Oh and the fronts will be 885/5100s with LR UCAs

    Cheers,

    Dave

    all I can say is that if you start with all leaves, and don't like it, you can remove some and re-cut your centering pins. if you start with fewer leaves and decide you need more, you also need to buy new centering pins. only you will know whats right and comfortable. that's how I would do it

    Thanks guys,

    And thank for that link!

    I think ill removed the O/L springs, used a 1/2" block to compensate for the loss of height, and keep the TSB.

    Cheers,

    Dave
