I have a 2011 DCSB and I have 3 leafs. Is it too late to get the TSB done? If not, do I just hit up my local dealer? I don't have any of the squeaking going on so I was wondering if they would tell me since there's no problem they won't do anything.

I received a letter in the mail but when I called they said they already had it in the system. They should be able to tell you over the phone when you give them your vin. It all has to do with the amount of clamps that the leaf packs have.

I called, they said my VIN wasn't listed. What is the clamp count on the affected leaf packs?

The original leafs I believe were two leafs+overload with either 2 or 3 clamps. The new TSB packs are three leafs+overload and like 6 clamps I think.

So not counting the AAL you have 3 total or 3+overload? Considering you have 2 clamps you should require the TSB. Try calling a different dealer? I've heard some dealers are hard to deal with. At the very least, try talking to a different person at the dealer.

When my local dealer did my spiral cable assembly my truck came out of there with the steering wheel pointing to the left. I called them out on it and they said it was due to my alignment. I told them BS since it wasn't like that when it went in. I also told them that if it was my alignment then my truck would pull to the side when I let go of the steering wheel. The gave me more run around. I got mad and hung up. It was easier and faster for me to straighten the steering wheel then it was to argue with them. Moral of the story... I don't trust dealers.

Overload, AAL, and 2 long leaves.

I called Toyota Corp and they ran the VIN.
