Looking at best rear leaf options to replace the newly issued TSB leafs and blocks I currently have. I’m in need of approximately 4.5 to 5” of lift over stock. Pics and ideas are appreciated.

Picture is currently. I want to eliminate the blocks and get rid of the axle wrap without doing a traction bar.

Any idea offhand 63 chevy leaf vs Toyota TSB leaf height difference. Stock vs stock?

My jeep buddy is trying to convince me to go with rubicon express leafs but still taking ideas and weighing out what I’m looking at to get my lift height whether it’s extra leafs, longer shackles, etc

I am happy with my @Blackout14 HD pack, holds my fat ass up where it needs to be, with swingout and tire carrier, RTT etc. my truck weighed in at about 6600# fully loaded for a 3 day trip, these leafs did great.

Like to keep the budget down, i know i can call Alcan and get some custom made but not looking to drop that kind of money. Fabrication is whatever, I work in fab shop right now and have most everything at my finger tips

My only questions is what do i have to add to it to keep height I’m at now and are they stiff enough to hold up that carrier with tire as well as maybe a four wheeler in bed without a pile of sag? Hoping someone who’s done it has alittle dimensioning insight on height vs stock toyota tsb leafs and can tell me their experience with hauling any kind of load with them

My brother did it. I started gathering all the parts for the swap and then went a different, but somewhat similar route.

There are two leaf pack options; 3+1 and 4+1 packs. These leaf packs are for 3/4 and 1 ton trucks..they will be stiff enough to handle anything you throw at it or mount on your rig, no doubt about it.

Because the spring rating on these is so high, again for 3/4 and 1 ton trucks, you can play with the leafs and add/remove to it as needed. For example, I found the 4+1 pack and when my brother installed them, he ran 3 leafs with no overload. Later on, with the additional weight he was carrying, he added the overload leaf to the pack and still has another leaf if he ever wants to add it.

Good deal, sounds like i just need to find a craigslist set and get an order with ruff stuff. I’ve got the extended length fox shocks already and been running on the low end of them with the limited travel. I’m due to relocate, so maybe this will motivate me to doing so

Craigslist or pick and pull junk yard. You should not pay over $100 for a decent set. Blow them apart, wire wheel and some paint and you're good to go.

Gonna have to fab/find me a good set of bump stops too. Luckily i haven’t bottomed out completely and damaged my shocks yet. So that’s next as well before I get back to the trails. My 35s stuff in the fender pretty well but Im still leary til i get the kinks worked out

Before I put the Chevy's on I had OME AAL and OME shocks for a 2" lift. since I did they Chevy's I'm at about 4" but that can be adjusted by adding and removing leaf springs like @geekhouse23 said. I found 63" lifted springs (5+1overload) I have 3 springs on right now but I noticed it's a bit soft so I'm going to add another spring here shortly. They hardest part about the process is removing the old shackle hangers and making sure the new ones are in the right place so you can get the most travel out of it. It's unbelievable how much travel you can get out of those springs. I highly recommend the swap

What's the scoop? Now I'm interested highly in this thread. With all things weighed. I'll be about 1500lbs over stock. Needing about 4" in the rear from stock.
Currently on a block with blown out stock leaves... Sagging in the back.
For @geekhouse23 , how much lift over stock do these provide. By themselves?
I'm thinking 4+1 and a shackle flip if needed.

3"+ depending on the configuration you run, shackle size/length, and if your goal is flex/droop or to beef up the load. "The world is your oyster" applies here.
