How high can you lift the back end of the truck without having to extend brake lines and new shocks and stuff. I had the tsb done on my truck and have a 1" block. Thinking about taking the 1" off and adding a 1 1/2 or 2"

hey, I was just wondering this myself. This discussion helped, towards the end they talk about how much they had in rear lift w/ stock lines.

    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/suspension/77171-extended-brake-lines-5100s.html

Sounds like 1 guy has 1.5 in back and the other 2.5, both with stock lines.

I am going to be going with an OME dakar pack 2.5" of lift and will be replacing the brake lines with a set for $60 from toytec or all-pro just to be safe, although after reading that I'm not sure it's necessary unless you're flexing all the time. Somewhere there is also a discussion about relocating brackets to give a little increased travel in the lines, but that may have been in the front, not sure.

i think once you get around 2" rear lift you need all that stuff. with 1.5" im not running into any problems

you have a 2010 and using blocks, and worried about replacing shocks and lines (which are cheap)?

do it once, do it right.
