A friend of mine has some rancho rs 9000 rear shocks, I measured the length of the shaft, and it's 12-13'' depending on where I measure from. but I'd say 12''. so, is that gona fit my truck?

Are you referring to REAR shocks?

If yes....Did you measure the shocks that are currently on your truck?

You'll want to measure the shock from eye-to-eye when it's collapsed and that same measurement when fully extended.

Take the same measurements on the Rancho shocks and compare them.

Did you know....the rear shocks are not the same size.

title is "rear shock length" :p

I did not measure the ones on my truck, because they are on my truck, and that would entail pulling the truck into the garage, lifting one side, measure etc and well this is easier, someone might know. thanks for the help janster, I'll measure the rancho's eye to eye

You don't need to lift the truck to install or remove shocks.

Can you get a Rancho part number? That'll make it even easier.
    Here's the size chart.

Can you get the brand & part numbers off your current shocks?

I know i dont need to lift it, but the stock shock is on the truck, I'd have to lift the truck to measure the stock shock. and I can't see any numbers, they are rusted and dirty. but they are the stock shocks from an 01 trd.

I'll see what I can find on the rancho's
