    They would rub if you articulated the axle and stuff the tire up there. Mine wouldn't rub if the axle went straight up. I've got 3.5" bs wheels and 255's

    Explain? You can actually see on mine that it looks like the flip plate is very close to the bottom of the shock cylinder. It could just be the camera angle as well.

    Ubolt flip plates are much smaller than the oem one. I can take some comparison pics later today

    If I take a hit on my bolt plates, my diff and lower shock mounts are going to take some serious damage too.

    The kit was worth every penny. My front end only cycles 10", with the rear being close to 13", I don't really need more rear suspension travel. If I ever go LT up front, I'll just go cantilever in the rear.

    Excuse the rust. My last trip out the shafts got sandblasted because I don't have front flaps, so the paint was blasted off. Haven't had a chance to repaint.

    You can tell I don't baby this setup, but I have not managed to rub anywhere yet.

    Those are pretty low. I did mine just coming straight of the axle.

    Keep in mind this truck is going to see 80% desert, and 20% trail. It's built more for going fast, and some expo built in.

    I don't spend much time in the rocks, and when I have, my spring perches have never even come close to hitting anything, and with the rod end being so close to the tire, I'm really not worried about Damage.

    Yeah I wouldn't be worried about it. I just did it that way as a rather be safe then sorry.

    Finally did it i used the lower shock mount from a 92 pickup and welded the other one that i cut up on top
