Driveline claim? They'll claim the lift did it.
Power window motor? They'll replace it & compliment your lifted truck.

Any updates to this? I’m also looking into the archive shock relocation with either 12 or 14” shocks.

Still trying to figure out what length brake line extension I need and possible strap length.

burned in my Archive shock towers & Hammer Hangers on Monday. Installed Kang 2.5x12" triple bypass remote reservoir bling. Initial freeway cruise says it's a much smoover ride! I can best compare it to how it used to feel with a few hundred pounds in the bed. No pogo stick, no chattering, nada. It just. Feels. Planted. Look closely & you'll see the uber custom reservoir mounts we used to get me by until I can get the real McCoys tacked on tonight.

Next up: UBolt flip kit & Spidertrax wheel spacers (hopefully before Calico this weekend)

Looks like you're pretty handy. I like to think I am too and pretty good with an angle grinder. Given that, is the Hammer Hanger install much of a problem?

Also, are there any guide pin points included with the Archive relocate bracket or do you have to mock it up with a shock to get it all lined up right?

Besides price and wheel spacing, what’s the draw of a 2.5x12” vs a 2.0x12”? I can assume ride quality between the two is improved right? I’m not doing any go fast stuff, just daily driver and slow trails.

Im not a shock designer but this should be accurate: A 2.0 with 7/8" shaft is not ideal for damping performance, a 2.0 with 5/8" shaft is actually better for damping performance, the 7/8 shaft reduces oil volume and valving area.
A 2.5 (7/8" shaft) is heavier duty, has a higher oil volume for better cooling, and can be valved to control higher loads, and then looks is something to

I'm about to perform a rear shock relocation but noticed that the hand brake could/will be the limiting factor? I was wonder how others have address this issue with the extra travel created with the rear shock relocation. Thanks in advance!

Not an issue on 2nd/3rd gens, the cables are attached to springs, no body. you'll need min 24" brake hoses though

Thank you Eric. I've purchased a set of extended brakelines but just wanted to make sure about the hand brake cables.

So a while back I relocated my first gen rear shock mounts in the same style as BoxRocket...Upper mount is a crossmember welded in above the stock driver shock mount. They’re angled toward the back of the bed. OME nitrochargers in all four corners.

I finally realized that I was having some majorly limited flex. I pulled the shocks off and gave it a quick flex test down the road and the rear end stuffs and drops so much further now. The ride is also sooo much softer.

I’m trying to understand why I’m getting so much binding and stiffness from the shocks. Its a good 2-3” of flex in either direction without the shocks installed. I see other rigs with the eyelets running the same direction without any bind.

I used these for the upper and Lower mounts.

    AA1DAC20-F03D-4A87-A6BF-E65B02D24C91.jpg

I think these would alleviate the binding problem

    A6AB475A-A254-430A-B994-6C20918EA5B8.jpg

Could I have angled the mounts just a hair off? It seems like my bushings don’t give at all...? Thanks for any thoughts

I agree with Eric, we need to see your actual installation to understand. I don't think binding is limiting you. Honestly the shocks would probably bend or get damaged before they prevented your articulation. It's more likely that they're too short, or were not cycled properly before installation.
