I just recently installed a 3 inch leveling kit with a 2 inch block on the rear. I've noticed that the bed will bottom out when going over a large bump like a speed bump. Is there anyone here that has done the same setup and can give me advice on some rear shocks that will correct this issue?

    Thanks in advance!

The 5100’s are for 0” to 1” lift.
While the 5100’s provide a firmer and more controlled ride and handling, I’m still bottoming out on large bump, and it only gets worse as the already sagging stock leafs continue to further sag as they get older.

Stock springs with 1/2 inch block:

Thanks for the info. I went with a pair of shock extenders for now but will eventually get the fox shocks.

Or you can go with the rcd5100's they are the extended length meant for a 3 to 5 inch lift... I was on a 4 inch lift and will get back to it soon after a few repairs.

What leafs do you have? I have dakar leafs on order and am shopping for rear shocks to go with them. After reading a few posts, sounds like the dakars give more flex than some shocks can handle. I was looking at the Fox 985-24-117, due to the 9.6" of travel.

I was running DAKARs after I got the Fox shocks. Definitely more flex than stock. Way less sag too.
