Well how did you mount tweeter in rear. Stock speakers are coaxial with no place I can see that would look like it fits for a tweeter in rear

I was actually trying to do this on a budget in my gen-one but the sound system I have in my Tacoma absolutely rivals the $$$ Bang and Olufsen system in the wife's Audi. I just like saying "Bang and Olufsen" . . .o_O

Already had a Sony MEX-6000 Head so I just threw it in with a filler below. Doing it again, I would have splurged for a nicer double DIN but again I was trying to save a buck so I just used it. I Dynomat'd the crap out of the entire cab since I had to scatter the entire thing anyway.

[2] Kenwood 5206 amps, so I'm pushing 75W to the 4//4=2 ohm fronts, and 60W to the 4 ohm rears, more compact than a 4 channel amp for mounting under each front seat
[2] Alpine SPS-517s for the front doors and rear panels
[1] Alpine SPR-10 Tweets for the front doors
[2] Kenwood KSC-SW11 5x8 Powered Subs, one under each seat

If you want to buzz your bumpers, these compact 5x8s won't be your cup of tea but for crystal clear LOUD base, I have been thoroughly impressed with these things. I don't get the whole bumper buzzing appeal but I listen to "music"! :p

You could probably get by with just one of the powered subs but my brain is so symmetrical, I get a brain cramp if it's not perfectly balanced. I was going to use the much higher priced Alpine components in the front doors but I am actually glad I didn't. I cannot imagine how this could sound much better?

Head Unit is a Kenwood 672 and the amp is an Alpine PDR75

Any fitment issues with these i was looking at putting them in the back of my 2012 db. I saw crutchfield says they wont fit but i dont see why that would be a problem. Since the components will fit in the back per crutchfield.
