I have a couple of questions. I noticed that my sr5 4x4 sits lower than most taco's so I checked on the door and it says to run 225 series tires. Whats up with that? I noticed that the majority of tacomas run 265/70's

Also the rear spring has a negative arch to it, and when I look at other tacomoas they don't have that negative arch. Are my springs shot? I installed a 2.5 inch lift up front and now it looks like a wannabe pre runner. Would it work to get a set of factory springs off a TRD or the sorts to lift the back? Or would I be wasting my time and just pony up the dough for the deavers? I lifted the front because the previous owner installed 270/75/16 that rubbed so bad I thought I was going to ruin a tire. The lift turned out cheaper! Thanks for any help.

P225/75-15 tires on 15x6 and later 15x7 steel wheels were standard on first series Tacoma's with 4x4 or PreRunner unless upgraded tire/wheel pkg was orderd, or a trim pkg that included upgraded tires was ordered. For years the door sticker listed the standard tires only, some years had a second sticker next to the origional with the optional tire sizes and pressures listed.

Your rear leafs are shot. If you have the money then I would go for the Deavers.
