I've read the threads talking about the rear leaf replacement on the 05-06's. I have an 07 and after seeing the posts decided to call the dealer and ask for an upgrade since the 07's have the same spring part #'s as the 05/06's. Toyota said they would indeed replace them.

But he said they wanted to let me know that it would make the suspension definitely stiffer.

The ride on my truck now is great. I do tow a camper and a motorcycle only sometimes. It seems to handle it very well...no bottoming. But the truck is so new I was wondering if maybe that was because the leaves haven't settled yet and I should go ahead and do it now.

He said they will keep it in the file and I can change my mind later and he will order them for me.

The question is, does the feel in the suspension take on a much stiffer ride?

Hey Viper, i just checked out your profile and saw that you are a psychologist! that was my major at Clemson. I planned on going to Virginia for Grad school but got sidetracked in a completely different field. What was your focus? what do you do now? where did you go to school?

Yeah, I am a Counselor (all types) and I also do Hypnotherapy and NLP. I definitely veer off the beaten path and do a lot of Spiritual teaching mainly now. Kinda like Eckhart Tolle or Dr. Michael Ryce. I do a lot of public speaking and travelling. I am doing a seminar in Ireland and am leaving tomorrow for two weeks.

I was a former musician, you can find me everywhere on the internet about that. A Big deal at one time I suppose. Opened for Iron Maiden and did our European tour with Angra, Edguy and Judas Priest. Many people know me that way...

    I went to Rutgers.

Sounds cool viper. I need to be hypnotherapized into being able to wake up early.... what do you mean by spiritual teaching? In my mind that could either mean new age stuff or religious stuff. BTW, how bout trading that 1st class ticket in for 2 coach tickets and i will come to Ireland with you. I'll be your drunk guest speaker :) What was the name of your band
