    So I really need to get new leafs, but I also wanted to get some new rear shocks with the new leafs, what would you guys recommend for a new leaf/shock setup? I can spend up to about 800$

    Do an add a leaf pack like icon and spend the rest on 2.5" rebuildable shocks. do 2.0 if the 2.5's are too much. If you change your stock bumps to softer foam bumps you can take some harder hits. Think daystar makes them. That set up can do really well

    Or you can try wheeler bump stops.

    I was wondering the same thing....if you're not going for a lift I just took off my Toyota TRD Bilsteins and brand new 3leaf pack that has probably 1,000mi., shocks have 11k mi.

    I took my truck in to get the TSB leafs done at my 10k mi service but they gave me a new 3pack instead. I now have just over 11k mi and replaced them with Deavers two days ago so the leafs are really new, shocks fairly new at 11k mi.

    $100? OBO...I'm in LA if you're interested, they're taking up space in my living room :)

    sounds like an awesome deal, but Im going more for better performance off road.


    I right now have 5100's w/Eibach springs set a 0, Ive been looking at the All Pro rear package withe the expedition leafs and fox shocks..... just a little bit more, but seems worth it. Should I go for it if I can?

    I'd do that. The guys in the dez do well with that. All about good shock power that's revalvable. Plus look into foam bump stops. The super soft red ones. Makes the truck buck less

    They are like 60 bucks now at jegs. 3 years ago they were half that. Im shocked seeing that. Might find them on Amazon for cheaper

    If u leave the front set at zero and install the AP expos your ass end is gonna be really high. And from what others have said on here expos ride stiff unless you have some weight in the rear.

    x2. Unless you plan on jacking the front up a little more, I wouldn't go with Expos or even the All Pro Standard pack. If you want to stay around 1.5 - 2" of rear lift, you're looking at an AAL or a custom leaf pack. For AAL's, Wheeler's or Icon's 3-leaf progressive AAL's are a good choice. For custom leaf packs, check out Alcan or Wheeler's sells a Deaver leaf pack that they advertise gives you about 2" of lift. Says its designed for desert use so might not be the best for load carrying.

    Cut the stock bumps flat and bolt to the frame. Basically copy a first Gen.

    Ya the red is pretty soft. I can dent them in a quarter inch with my finger. Ill look for the link.
