    Toyota having parts looking the same with same stock #'s but different ratings doesn't add up. So maybe the different extra symbols do indeed mean problem solved.

    Mine is the Off Road package with the Tow package as well. I had the TSB performed.

    My thoughts also. After reading all the posts I wanted the TSB done before actually towing my trailer.

    I just looked at my numbers on my 08 DC OR. No "+" marks at all. I don't seem to be having any problems with mine. The numbers are as follows:

    CHI 48210-045590-F 100907

    I only looked at the right side but the number part seems to match all the other 08 DC's #'s.

    LMAO!!! Were did you come up with this? Mine have the "CHI" and say "made in USA". :confused: Im not sure of any parts of the TAcoma that are made in china. Even the cheesy clock is made in Japan.

    All major drive train components are made in U.S.A.. In some models, the rear axel, rear springs, are made in Mexico.:)

    It is part of the part number. The springs made in Mexico, and U.S.A. have the same "CHI" on them. Im still looking into it, though. :)
