Just logged onto Club Toyota to see there is an active campaign. Called 1888TOYOTA8 and they told me the recall is to reshape the gas pedal and reflash the ecu for a brake overide function. Dont know if this is new or old but they said the letters went in the mail yesterday. I go to the dealer tomorrow.

I just took mine in yesterday for another reason and they did the recall. They told me it's a new recall that came out about 2 weeks ago.

Did they do the recall with or without your permission?

They did it without my permission it pissed me off a bit but reflashing the computer took care of the transmission lag that I originally took it in for.

    What dealer?
When I had my Camry in for service at Tustin Toyota the rep asked me about the recall on it and I informed him that it was not to be done.
He made a note on the invoice I signed that I was informed and declined.
