I've thinking about putting a front-end reciever on my taco and getting a reciever-mounting winch plate (as opposed to a Warn Trans4mer, which appears to be the only guard capable of mounting a winch). so as to have winching capability on either end as needed.

Question is, since the hitch reciever is technically rated for 6500 lb, does it have enough extra strength to handle an 8000 lbf winch pull (or possibly a 16000 lbf pull using a single pulley block if necessary)?
