The Recirculating Air Switch on my '11 Taco keeps turning off after I engage it. (I like to drive with the outside air vents closed) I can actuate the switch and then later, it will turn off, opening the vents. Took it to the local dealer to have it diagnosed and was told the unit is working fine. The manual states that if the button is held for at least 2 seconds, the vents will stay colsed until the ignition key is removed.

Anyone else have this problem? Would like to get it resolved.

Brand new and bone stock with many plans...
It will only stay on when the A/C is on full blast at the coldest setting. Otherwise, you need to engage it yourself... I have this issue as well.

Hold the recirc button for more than 3 seconds. It will stay on then. (I was told this by a mechanic at the dealer)

    Cheers!!
