I really like my KO2's. I would not recommend them if you do a lot of highway driving as they are really heavy and will eat about 10% of your gas mileage.

The downside to the KO's is they are usually E rated. My truck rides like a truck... then I ride in my coworkers TRDOR with Michelin Defenders and its so comfy lol.

Just depends on the size. You can get 265/70/17s in C rating

I did not find the 'E' rating on the KO2's to make a huge difference as compared to the stock rugged fails. I hesitated on them, in fear of a rough ride and crappy MPG but it is hardly noticeable and can be tuned with air pressure. I'd buy them again in a second... LOVE my KO2's!!

Ko2's. Love the durability and ruggedness on these tires. I am always in the hard dirt, washout roads, bad paved roads ,sand. No problems for the ko2's. They are heavy.

It shouldnt be a problem, thats the largest size you can run on stock suspension without having rubbing issues. My front end is actually about 1/2inch lower than stock since my bumper is making it sag. I was honestly expecting them to rub some when i got them because of the sag, but i was pleasantly surprised

Any places have sales going on right now for tires? My rims came and I really want to see them on my Tacoma.

Just replaced my Michelin Defenders with Toyo AT2's. I always thought the Michelin's were really good but when compared to the Toyos they have really soft mushy sidewalls that caused my truck to follow the imperfections of the road. The Toyo AT2's are much better handling and does not kill your ride and better yet these tires track down the road really well, I'm not working the steering wheel nearly as much as I was with the Michelin's.

Was just gonna ask about Toyo tires. I really like the Open Country AT2. Made in the USA too. Those may be my choice.

Would 265 70 17 fit at stock height?

    265 70 17 is bigger than stock, you need 265 65 17 for stock height/size. I'm running 265 70 16's
