Are yours the LT non-extreme? And if so, do you have a good photo of the sidewall. Having difficulty finding a truck with the standard LT AT2 around here to check out and the sidewall is different between the P- LT and Extreme LT.

    Dont think they're LTs.

I found it. Its right in the middle of my mudflaps. Guess I'll be leveling my truck sooner than later. Maybe my coils are old and saggy. Its not rubbing enough to stop me from driving it, but enough to drive me nuts knowing.

Just wondering if you researched Duratrac and why you choose the AT3w over them?

I'm 5k into my E rated 265/70r17 BFG KO2 tires. Still love them. They do suck the gas(lost about 2 mpg) but the traction is great in all conditions. New the tread depth is 15/32 and at 5k they are still above 14/32.

Yeah, I have Rok Blokz. I'm going to try to fiddle with the spacers this weekend and see if I can make some clearance or just remove them temporarily. Tires are barely rubbing. I wish I had the money to lift my front, just dropped it all in rims and tires, not thinking they'd cause any rubbing issues. I don't want to go the spacer route, so I"m going to have to just be patient and wait till next payday.

I will say, other than the slight rubbing, the tires are great. They're quiet and well look great paired with the KMC rims I put them on. Can't wait to see what they're gonna look like with a small lift.

Yeah that's my next step after my alignment is to stuff and cut and smash and whatever I have to do to make them stuff lol. I did some trails the other day and got into some mud holes and was rubbing on the fender lower corners. So cab chop and pinch weld is getting done this weekend I hope.

Did you end up going with 285? Can't remember. I think you said that and a 3" lift? I may just do a 3" lift, but really only want to level the front. As long as my tires aren't rubbing I'll be happy.

Just a crap spacer lift for now, I'm on hold while playing around with it to see how far I want to go first. Looking at a few options and maybe a truck swap before I go full overland. Need to save about 12k before I do anything else :D

TAKE THE FLAPS OFF!! You don't have to but if you off road, those will fold right up if they hit anything, they rub on tires, the only collect mud in my experience, gives you more clearance, and IMO the truck looks better without them.

Flaps are pretty flush with the wheel well, I don't think it will give me more than a few MMs of clearance.

Ah okay then, that means if you ever were to flex the truck then they'd probably hit the wheel well too. I saw you ordered 5100s, did you get anything along with them? i.e. springs, leafs, etc.

You are correct. Already found out the hard way. Any incline at moderate speed, I'll get a little tire rub. Really wasn't planning on having to do this yet. I wanted to upgrade my brakes. I got some stainless lines sitting here next me.

I'm hoping to only have to level the truck. If I have to go three, I'll probably do something with the leafs. I may get some new springs for the front, but if not needed I won't. My trucks underparts are in really good condition.

You think I"ll need new top hats? Gonna make a list of parts to help rebuild my front. Probably should replace the bushings while I'm at it. I'll do all the work myself and then take the truck in for an alignment.

Well I'm no expert but if you can fudge the money then yea I recommend replacing them. Given the truck is an 09 I'm guessing its got some miles on it and replacing all those couldn't hurt as long as you know what you're doing. But I'm probably not the best person to ask, maybe someone else on this thread has some good input on it?

Right on, I've done a few. It's usually best to replace wear parts while you're at it. Just not sure how durable the top hats are. The truck only has 70K, still smells new in the cab. So, I don't really think they're gonna be in bad shape. Bushings are definitely getting replaced though. I would like to avoid having to buy springs. Just really don't want the added costs at the moment, unless I can find some really nice used ones. Sounds like a set of V6 springs would firm things up.
